Upgradation COC for Officers – III Mate vide IMO Rules II/1
1. Ratings holding ‘WatchKeeping COC' needs over 12months of approved seatime on over 500 GT ships
2. CAMA shall provide upgradation certification converting the seaman to “Officer in-charge of a Navigation Watch”
or III Mate COC vide rule II/1 operational level.
3. Candidate is awarded 5 years valid hardcover COC, GMDSS, SSO & Seaman Book of III Mate
PROCESSING TIME -- 5 DAYS.
Upgradation For Engineers Class IV (III/1) Class II (III/2) & Chief Engineer:
Class IV Engineers applicant must have minimum seatime
of over 12months while holding Ratings Watch Keeping COC
